Bobbi has a lifetime of experience working with horses. She is a superb horse trainer; worked at a local racetrack, and was a 4-H horse leader for nine years. Bobbi has shown horses in Halter, Western and English pleasure. She has ridden in Competitive Distance rides and Endurance Distance rides. Bobbie also worked with veterinarians as a recorder for endurance distance rides to ensure the health and fitness of the horses.
Bobbi is also a Level II Centered Riding Instructor. Centered Riding founder Sally Swift developed the principals of Centered Riding (Breathing, Soft Eyes, Centering, Building Blocks and later Grounding) as tools to improve the balance and effectiveness of the rider.
She has created and taught a course through the continuing education department at Flathead Valley Community College “The Language of the Horse” Equine Assisted Learning to help students learn the subtle language of the horse.For more information about Equine Assisted Learning please contact Bobbi
Bobbi has been certified as a Horse Specialist and Equine Assisted Learning in EAGALA – Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association and OK Corral Series by Greg Kersten. She also offers EAL “Horse Powered Reading ©”
